As we have noted before, Jesus modeled a servant’s heart for us while He was here on earth. It’s our turn to get busy serving others. The aim of today’s post is to help you get started.
Today we will be looking at 5 things you need in order to have a successful servant evangelism project.
Anyone can do it. All you need is a good idea. Doing servant evangelism is effective and rewarding. Today I will give you 10 servant evangelism ideas for your group to try.

It was a great day! Eager volunteers showed up, loaded up, and got serving. What I’m referring to is our 4th of July service to our community this week. We handed out free bottles of ice cold water to thirsty parade goers this week in our city. The coolest thing about the project (no pun intended), was how pumped our volunteers were when they arrived back at the truck all hot and sweaty from a steamy south Louisiana afternoon workout. We’re working on our short video now to show this Sunday to encourage more volunteers to get involved in our next project. I may also share it here. What does this mean to you?

The Journey Begins
Why is our church not growing? Why are we not reaching more people? How could we make more of an eternal impact in our community? These were questions I found myself asking on a regular basis. As I searched God’s Word with a renewed passion to learn as if it were the first time I read it, fresh ideas about how Jesus served others and how He lived outside the religious cultural norm began to leap right off the pages like they never had for me before. The resulting journey of fresh discovery (which I am still on, by the way), is what I want to begin sharing with you.
